Welcome to the 1999 Semi-annual
all-day golf match which fall session was held on October 13, 1999 at the Amherst Country Club in Amherst, NH.
This update sponsored by cousin "Fruitcake" Ron Nolin
The venue for this years (1999) fall golf match was changed to Amherst because the players felt that the Shattuck was not in good condition. We hope that things will improve there in the coming golf season. Competitors are Ray Nolin, Ron Nolin, Al Dyson and Rick Nolin. Another change was to have the winner decided by total 36 hole medal play scoring; i.e., net score. Side bets continued in fashion with long drive, greenies, sandies and birdie payoffs. The player with the lowest net score earned a "full gloat dinner" paid for by the runners up.
As these photos and this report will attest, the 1999 fall competition was fortunate to have good weather with mild temperatures in the low 60s and mild winds.
